More than four hundred years ago, a young Lakota woman steals a log from a burning fire. Then she flees into the dark woods. Years later, two young boys and their mother return to those same woods to fix up a spooky old mansion that belonged to their Great-Uncle Mel. The secret of the Lakota woman’s mysterious theft lies somewhere within that sealed-up house.
