Book 17/5 of "The Archaeology of York: The Small Finds". These are published for the York Archaeological Trust by the Council for British Archaeology. This came out in 1989. There is a microfiche tucked in a pocket in the back cover. It covers how the weaving was done, looms and techniques, and industrial development. It analyses the nalbinding done on the sock.
