The first edition of three printings. the second edition printed in 1912 added maps and some other pictures. the third edition printed in 1913 added Robinson's blank verse booklet "A Private's Christmas Dinners" Arthur Robinson also published a series of cards on subjects like "Decoration Day" Robinson was born in 1845 and was 17 at his entry into the 33rd Wis. Vol. Inf. His mustering-in card states that he was 19. His younger brother Hiram was 14 when her enlisted the same day with Arthur. Arthur died at the NW Soldier Home in Milwaukee in 1930 and buried under a private headstone in a common grave with his brother Hiram
