This book is an interesting merger between the mid-century wisdom of nutrition and the "science of mind" philosophy that descended from the theosophist movement at the turn of the century. Its aim appears to integrate body and mental health through nutrition and mental "hygiene", or correct thought. The so-called Science of the Mind is the same philosophy that underlies such popular texts as "The Secret" and the "Law of Attraction. Written in a very easy-to-understand fashion, the author presents somewhat outdated but still valid orientation towards whole foods, fresh air, a bit of exercise, and meditation as the best practices to insure and restore good health.
