During the Second World War, the Japanese invaded northern Manchuria. During this time they engaged in covert activities in order to develop and test biological weapons under the name of Unit 731. These tests were preformed on Chinese civilians, and POW's as well as Russian civilians and American troops as far south as the Philippians. Sheldon Harris examines the activities of Unit 731 and the cover up by the Americans in exchange for knowledge during the cold war.
