The master principle of education, said Frank Gaebelein, is that all truth is God's truth. This succinct volume, which complements the author's other works such as Christian Education in a Democracy (ACSI, 1995), emphasizes the unity of all truth under God. The Pattern of God's Truth sets forth, through principle and example, the premise that teaching is built on the presuppositions of the teacher. If those presuppositions lack unity, the resulting educational offerings will be whimsical and inconsistent. Some in Christian school education have succumbed to a fragmented application of Christian principles, failing to recognize that, as Gaebelein puts it, "a dichotomy between sacred and secular truth has no place in a consistently Christian philosophy of education." - Back cover.
