Famous actor Lincoln Edwards takes a short trip to South Africa to check on a dying friend's race horses which haven't been running as well as they ought. He survives two murder attempts, but might not survive the third. Manacled to the steering wheel of a car abandoned in a famous game park, he knows who trapped him there, and why. But not how he is going to survive.
