Glossy, yellow and green covers with a tie-around illustration of the "South Channel Crossing; Proposed Trans-Columbia River Bridge; Oregon Highway Dept. Drawing." The front cover has the title and date, the price of "25 cents," and the part of the illustration that shows "Pier 3, Port Docks, Astoria, Oregon." Near the bottom of the front cover is a paragraph about the bridge: "The artist's view here of the long-planned Trans-Columbia river bridge between Astoria and Megler, Wash., shows the main channel crossing on the Astoria side which will carry Highway 101 traffic between Oregon and Washington 196 feet above ocean vessel traffic. This main span of the proposed 4.3 mile causeway will provide horizontal clearance of 1070 feet between piers." The back cover also has five cartoon illustrations running down the left margin: a clown, a woman on a board, a couple dancing, a sailboat, and a salmon. Size: 8.25" x 10.5"
