When police locate an old pawn ticket identifying the gun used in a five year old murder, they trace it to a ski instructor in Taos, New Mexico, who works for Charlie's husband Drake. Drawn into the world of art shows and galleries that Taos is known for, Charlie begins to uncover connections between the murder victim and the theft of millions of dollars in religious artifacts.
