Lauren, fifteen, from Beverly Hills, and two younger siblings suddenly lose their parents in an accident. An unknown religious aunt brings them to Brooklyn's Boro Park to live but Lauren has trouble adjusting. She calls to a second aunt to take her away, but that woman has her own financial agenda.
