LUIGI CORNARO, often styled THE VENETIAN CENTENARIAN, the aged author of the famous treatise, "La Vita Sobria" (literal translation, "The Temperate Life," but better known as "The Art of Living Long"), was born in the city of Venice in the year 1464.
