The model D-430 for the year 1930 was an enlarged and slightly improved version of the earlier Wallace "Touroplane" as designed by Stan Wallace, a craft that was built by "American Eagle" as the model 330 or B-330 (refer to ATC #119 of U. S. CIVIL AIRCRAFT, Vol. 2).
