Randolph Randy Camp, author of Coreville Park a reggae novel, Monica A Short Story Collection and the TV scripts HARRY'S FIELD and TIME OUT TIME IN, was born on March 12, 1961 in rural Spotsylvania County, Virginia. Randy's NEW K.A.N.S.A.S. is an adventure about an underground kids' society and their uprising. Randy's TONY'S BIKE is an entertaining tale about a kid detective helping local cops solve a murder. Randy has five daughters, Natasha, Christina, Melinda, Randie, Ranielle and one son Joshua. Randy currently resides in Des Moines, Iowa. Randy has a passion for working with at risk and troubled youth. Randy is a Youth Advocate and Mentor. In May 2015, Randy acquired an Associate of Science Degree in Mental Health Studies and Substance Abuse Counseling. Randy is employed as a Resident Advisor at Youth Emergency Services & Shelter (YESS). Randy is a Quarter-Finals Prize Winner of the Writers Network 14th Annual Screenplay & Fiction Competition in Los Angeles. Randy also is the author of four novels: "29 DIMES", "WET MATCHES", "...THEN THE RAIN", and "FALSE DANDELIONS". Aside from his TV scripts and screenplays HARRY'S FIELD, TIME OUT TIME IN, TONY'S BIKE and LABREA'S MOON, Randy has also written several other movie scripts, including NEW K.A.N.S.A.S., 'RIDGEFIELD', and 'TUNNEL ONE'.
