J. Douglas White was born in Mississippi, USA and educated at George Washington University. He has worked for U.S. Naval Intelligence in Washington D.C., and designed electronic circuitry for California's space programs-including one that put man on the moon. He has restored period houses in Lincolnshire and Kent, England, and been imprisoned in Mozambique, charged with being an MI-6 agent. After living 15 years in Spain, he is now retired and lives in San Antonio, Texas. He published "Siege!" with the Book Guild and is co-author of "Scorpion Heart", a WWII novel set in Gibraltar. He has also written on Mozambique for the London Sunday Telegraph, and on England for various U.S. newspapers and magazines.-Amazon
