Michael Cobb teaches courses in American literature, modernism, queer literature, queer theory, literary theory, and critical race theory. In addition to his primary appointment in the Department of English, he is also cross-appointed to University College, the Centre for the Study of Religion, the Drama Centre, and the Women and Gender Studies Institute. He's also an affiliated faculty member at the Centre for the Study of the United States and the Mark S. Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies. Michael was awarded the University of Toronto Faculty of Arts and Science Outstanding Teaching Award in 2009.
