Dotti Enderle is the author of dozens of books for children. She was born in Killeen, Texas on in 1954. Her family moved around a lot. Her book Man in the Moon is based upon her childgood experiences. The character Janine is heavily based upon Enderle. She has lived most of her life in Houston and she still lives there today.
